Samantha Grant Advanced Nurse Practitioner and Independent Prescriber

I would like to introduce myself to you and tell you a little more about my journey and beliefs for you as a possible patient considering having a treatment so that you can feel confident in your choice.

I started my career in the aesthetics field eight years ago in 2011. At this point in time, it was a medical only field and dare I say it, a lot safer. I was still working as a Community Nurse at that point after qualifying as a Registered Nurse within the NHS in 1999. I had become a little disillusioned with the state of the NHS at this point so decided to mix a love l had for facial beauty, art and my nursing background and I founded my first business offering basic aesthetic treatments.

I had as a nurse worked within in many different teams always looking to update and keep my skills on point and moving with the times, so not much has changed there you will be pleased to hear. I finally left the NHS in 2014, as my little business was growing mainly from patient word of mouth and I decided to focus solely on facial aesthetics.

In 2016, I co founded a clinic with a nurse colleague called the Skin Clinic Faversham. I left that business in 2018 to develop my own practice and Samantha Grant Aesthetics was born. Throughout the past eight years, I have worked tirelessly to develop my practice to a standard that I believe is of a high calibre and offers patient safety which to me is of the upmost importance.

I have invested a lot of personal time and investment in training and I select the best Drs and Nurses within the UK to train with within each specialist area as I believe that investing in ones self in turn allows the patient to receive a high standard of treatment delivery.

The relationship I strive to achieve with my patients is one of a professional yet personal and unique experience. I have been seeing some returning patients since my aesthetic journey began eight years ago, so for many, we have shared some amazing life stages together as we work towards their weddings, personal celebrations or just because they like to take care of their skin and maintain their youthful appearance.

I find that this approach to my work allows my patients to feel safe and also they are able to approach myself and my assistant if they have any after care needs without any worry.

An honest and open dialogue is always encouraged as this is also extremely important to us. An understanding of the importance of the mental health of my patients as well as their general health when considering a treatment is paramount and sensitivity to this is always ensured and maintained.

My professional conduct is maintained in line with the NMC as I am regulated by this body as a Registered Nurse. I have also been a member of ACE (Aesthetics Complications Expert Group) since 2016, this body is only for medical/nursing and dental practitioners as a guide in the event of a complication. I regularly attend conferences but more importantly, up to date training within my field to ensure I am adhering to my nursing CPD responsibilities and maintaining a high level of up to date care and current trends within our industry. I am a member of the Dermatological Nursing Society and I keep up to date on a monthly basis with the Journal of Aesthetic Nursing and Aesthetics Journal. I am also fully insured by Enhance Insurance.

I hope this offers you an insight into how my business and practice developed and that it ensures that when we meet, you know that you will be treated as a unique person and welcomed in a warm and welcoming manner. We look forward to meeting you and starting your aesthetic journey with you.

Hello everyone, my name is Charmain Springett I’ve been working in the Aesthetics world for the last 3 years.

Initially I started working as a receptionist for The Skin Clinic Faversham alongside Samantha Grant and business partner doing the bookings, ordering products, advertising, plus interacting with new and existing clients.

In January 2019 Samantha Grant Aesthetics was born and I was offered the role of Clinic Manager. I now own the unofficial name as ‘PA to the worlds best Aesthetics face fairy’

In my new role I have a great working relationship and friendship with Sam, which in turn helps the business to run at an exceptionally high standard. I am the first port of call for new and existing clients, helping them understand our products and treatments. I manage Sams day to day diary through various forms of communication, I interact with the various clinics we hold in the Kent and London areas, I take payments, I make sure we are always fully stocked with products, I make sure new and existing client medical history’s are always up to date.

I’m always at the end of the phone for clients whom wish to discuss their treatments or need some reassuring. I have a great rapour with all our clients and do my best to make sure the clinic runs as smoothly as possible. I love what I do and I hope that shows in the way our small business is run.

I am also the proud mother of 3 handsome boys and a very naughty French Bulldog.
